Delta Gamma was founded to create an environment for its members in which lasting friendships are established. Our symbol is the Anchor, and we strive to uphold our Delta Gamma motto, "Do Good." Here at the University of Oregon, we are very proud of our philanthropy, Anchor Splash.
Anchor Splash is a campus wide lip-synching and dancing contest for all of the fraternity's and sorority's in the Greek community to come together for friendly competition that helps a great cause. Anchor Splash is currently the largest philanthropic event at the University of Oregon. The proceeds made from t-shirt sales, a silent auction, fundraising and the beautiful eyes contest are donated to Oregon School for the Blind in Salem, Oregon and Delta Gamma’s national foundation, Service for Sight and Aid to the Blind.
